Carterwood co-founder and director, Amanda Nurse, will be joining a panel discussion session at the new HealthInvestor Midlands Focus conference on Tuesday 7 November in Birmingham. The theme of the conference is investment opportunities and challenges for the Midlands care market.
The panel will address “What’s driving development in the Midlands care sector?” and cover the following points:
Development and market capacity: where are the growth opportunities?
Taking stock: what type of care facilities does the market need?
Competitive fields: how are shifting land prices impacting development costs?
Local authority funding: are local authorities recognising the true cost of care? Is it a level playing field?
Number crunching: funding appetite for new developments
Amanda will join fellow panel speakers: Pete Calveley, chief executive of Barchester Healthcare; James Mesquitta, head of corporate healthcare finance at Santander Corporate & Commercial Bank; Rory Pope, partner at Apposite Capital, and Debbie Sizer, director at Seddon Care Partnerships.
Amanda comments: “I’m honoured to be invited to join the panel at this exciting new HealthInvestor conference. I’m looking forward to sharing Carterwood’s expert view, as well as answering specific questions in relation to market drivers in the Midlands care sector.”
