What the role will include:

As part of our growth plans, there is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and resourceful individual to join the team and to assist with the management of the HR operations. This role requires the successful candidate to exercise the highest levels of attention to detail in a fast-paced, friendly and supportive working environment.

The role will comprise the following:

  • Handling employee relations issues such as grievances and employee welfare
  • Leading the recruitment process, including the selection and interviewing of candidates
  • Collaborating with the senior leadership team, to ensure the smooth running of the company from a people perspective
  • Liaising with the managing director to establish and roll-out people-related strategy
  • Overseeing staff attendance and absence monitoring
  • Providing HR reports to the senior management team
  • Communicating feedback from Officevibe and actioning feedback in conjunction with the managing director
  • Selection and management of outsourced HR support
  • Administration of employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new starter packs, or formal notices of termination
  • Leading new starter company inductions
  • Managing talent pools and succession plans
  • Overseeing training and development of employees
  • Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way
  • Responsibility for the office environment including managing our serviced offices
  • Producing and implementing the company training programme.

Essential competencies

  • CIPD or degree educated
  • Computer literate, with experience working in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
  • Positive attitude, personable approach and the ability to work well within a team
  • Conscientious approach to work is key to this role
  • Proven ability to prioritise and work autonomously on large tasks and deal with changing priorities
  • Driving licence desirable but not essential.
