What the role will include:

As part of our growth plans, there is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and resourceful individual to join the team and assist in ensuring that the office runs smoothly. This role requires the successful candidate to exercise the highest levels of attention to detail in a fast-paced, friendly and supportive working environment.

The role will comprise the following:

1. Updating our CRM system, to include:

  • Daily routine data checks and visiting websites to populate our CRM system
  • Adding new contacts and companies
  • Adding meeting and telephone call notes

2. Updating our Analytics database
3. Greeting visitors
4. Providing refreshments, ordering and collecting lunches
5. Helping to answer incoming calls
6. Booking taxis, couriers, hotel and travel requirements
7. Filing
8. Photocopying and binding
9. iPhone updates
10. Archiving inspection notes
11. Stationery orders
12. Bulk scanning of inspection packs
13. Collecting parcels from reception and managing the post
14. Printing reports and preparing other documentation for meetings
15. Assisting with formatting and amending documentation, including presentations, fee proposals, agendas, and general correspondence
16. General team and office administration.

Essential competencies

  • Educated to A-level standard
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 Business Administration or previous office experience desirable
  • Highly computer literate, with experience working in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • The ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
  • Positive attitude, personable approach and the ability to work well within a team
  • Conscientious approach to work is key to this role
  • Proven ability to prioritise and work autonomously on large tasks and deal with changing priorities
  • Driving licence desirable.
