Research Analyst

Salary: Up to £20,000 per annum

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)

Location: Located within commuting distance of Aztec West, Bristol. Mixture of home and office based working.

The role

  • Research for fee earning work including advisory reports and bespoke projects.
  • Checking the integrity of our suppliers’ data.
  • Data collection from external sources.
  • Conducting online research.
  • GIS – assist with research and preparation of maps.
  • Running simple SQL queries using pre-prepared scripts.
  • Working alongside our data team to ensure the accuracy of any data.
  • Telephone based research, including on a mystery-shopper basis.
  • Competitor research.
  • Working with the sales and marketing teams to undertake research required for presentations, reports and meetings.
  • Occasional attendance of client meetings alongside colleagues in the advisory team and completing accurate minutes in meetings.
  • Develop a basic understanding of care market key terms, definitions, and sectors.


The person

  • Ideally educated to degree level.
  • Highly computer literate, with experience working in Excel and Word documents.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical skills, with the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
  • Positive attitude, personable approach and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Conscientious approach to work.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and work autonomously on large tasks and deal with changing priorities.
  • Driving licence desirable.
