South West success

Carterwood complete a hat-trick of transactions throughout the South West over a three-week period from late September to early October.

The completion of the sale of Litfield Land’s Keynsham development site with planning permission for a 68-bed care home to Hamberley Development was the start of a flurry of activity throughout the South West, with the sale of Argentum Lodge, a purpose-built trading home in Nailsea to Welford Healthcare and Impact Healthcare REIT, closely followed by the sale of Castleoak’s 64-bed scheme in Bishops Cleeve to Octopus Real Estate, with Advinia acting as tenants in the proposed development.

Matthew Drysdale, director at Carterwood commented “We are delighted to see clear evidence of an increased appetite for South West care home opportunities. The region presents a great opportunity to developers, operators and investors alike, boasting a broadly comparable wealth profile to much of the South East but with greater opportunities for new developments to stand out against the existing stock.”

If you’d like to know more about any of the above deals, or to discuss your own requirements, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Please contact Matthew Drysdale on 08458 690777 or email Matthew.drysdale@carterwood.co.uk.
