Carterwood to present latest research at NCF Finance Forum in October

We are delighted to announce our continued partnership with the National Care Forum (NCF) at their second Finance Forum of 2019 on the 17 October to be held at One Housing’s Bankhouse in central London. Carterwood director, Tom Hartley, and John Wearing, partner at Anthony Collins Solicitors, are presenting.

The NCF Forums offer the opportunity for its members to come together and share new ideas, knowledge and experience to help with the effective provision of quality care. The Finance Forum allows members to share best practice and knowledge on financial systems and procedures, to analyse and review topical finance and systems issues and act as the specialist group to review relevant legislation.

Carterwood have completed their latest research across the elderly care home sector into fee rates in the private pay market. This research highlights current trends across the UK and identifies key drivers to achieving higher weekly fee rates to offset continually rising costs.

Following significant press coverage and the upcoming compliance review, Anthony Collins will discuss the impact on local markets of the new CMA obligation on all homes to provide clear information about their fees, and how this might be dealt with in practice by both compliant and non-compliant providers.

If you are a member of the NCF and would like to attend the Finance Forum, please email Amelia Greenstreet at amelia.greenstreet@carterwood.co.uk to confirm your attendance.
