Jane Grimsted

Finance Director

Est. at Carterwood: 2018

Role: As Finance Director, Jane leads Carterwood’s entire finance function. With a sharp eye for detail, she oversees budget management, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning and development. She also champions our Social & Environmental engagement, spearheading the team’s work in assessing our impact under the B Corp framework. Jane joined the team in 2018 and was promoted to Finance Director in 2022.

Background: As A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), Jane brings over 25 years of financial experience. Her background includes more than five years in audit with a top 10 accountancy firm and eight years in corporate finance - giving her a well-rounded, results-driven approach.

Passion: Jane loves to explore both the UK and beyond in her motorhome with her family. When she’s not on the road, you’ll find her enjoying live music, cheering on her favourite sports team (Bristol City) or getting lost in a good book.
